So I stopped by Borders yesterday to see if they had the new Marie Claire Idees magazine and ended up being there over four hours! I get lost in book stores LOL.
I looked through the new book Kaleidoscope and it is jammed packed with small writing. Looks like something you would sit and read for hours to soak up all the details....I am pondering getting it from Amazon...but that means I have to pick out something else to get the free shipping...choices, choices.....
I love to collect autographed cookbooks. Yesterday my good friend Betsy invited me to go with her to a Sara Foster book signing. I wasn't able to make it but she did pick me up the new cookbook Fresh Every Day and had it personalized for me!! Awesome! I have her first cookbook personalized too. Her recipes are delicious and there are a few on her web site . Sara used to work for Martha Stewart but now has two restaurants in Durham and Chapel Hill- great spots for lunch. I have met Sara twice and have some photos of us together- really nice lady. My favorite item that she makes is her 7 pepper jelly- delicious on cream cheese and crackers. 
I doubt that recipe is in the new cookbook since she sells it by the jar.
