I have been thinking of taking these felted sparkly rings and making a rainbow necklace by laying them down flat and tying on beads between them with some fun skinny ribbon or maybe with black thread....hmmm....or maybe I should turn them into some kind of funky belt...can't decide so there they sit LOL...ideas?
When I get really excited I sometimes say "giddy up" LOL. My friend Candy sent me this funny stamp. I found three of these wooden crate things at the thrift store~ perfect for my wooden stamps. I might paint them someday...probably orange!
Buttons are fun. I even cut them off of ruined clothes before I toss them in the trash. Here you can see a few thrifted white glass pieces I got for maybe $1 each! Yippee!! I like white since it will always match whatever color scheme I have going.
I got this English made silver candy dish from Goodwill for I think $2. Been working on a little stitched wall hanging...maybe I'll have it done by Christmas LOL

When I was about seven years old I used to ride my bike over to my friends house. In the corner of her bedroom was a bouquet of paper flowers. I always wondered where she found sheets of paper that large. I don't remember ever visiting a craft store when I was young so I had no idea tissue paper was a regular crafting item.
A couple weeks ago I thought about those paper flowers and decided to make some. Helen and I stopped at Jerry's Artarama, picked up several colors of the largest sheets we could find and played like we were seven for a couple hours...fun!
Leaving my few crystal pieces hidden away is a waste. I am slowly unpacking things that I forgot that I had and am using them for fun. I figure I can always dump out the crafty goodies and use them for food or candies when needed. Besides who can resist sparkly pom poms?
This is one of the perks of living a little into the country. I get to cross over several bridges on my way home. The coolest thing is to witness the misty mornings rise up in a swirly fog from the water.
Yesterday morning there were probably 200+ birds hovering and swooping down~ such an amazing sight!
Hunter called me to come outside and this is what I saw! Akkk! How freaky! This picture is straight out of the camera w/o any touch ups. Can you believe it? I took a ton of shots as the sky changed for 10 minutes till the sun went down.
I like that the apt complex has these happy flowers all around- makes me smile when I walk by
